Club President Paul Williams took it upon himself this year to organise a morning of tennis and frivolity at the Club during Melbourne Cup Day celebrations.

A Group of 8 players – plus a few added extras enjoyed a BBQ breakfast with all the trimmings, some good coffee, champagne and more – before embarking on a morning of handicap doubles with Paul’s own special blend of tournament rules.
It was a terrific morning with Rod Unmack and Alison Dugdale awarded their male and female winners champagne at the end of the days play. A big thankyou goes to our Prez Paul for organising the day.
