BTC is now taking numbers for it’s Winter Doubles Pennant season. This pennant has proven most popular amongst BTC members who enjoy their doubles – but without a pennant format that takes up much of their night. Participants may choose from predominantly Monday or Wednesday nights – with one hour matches scheduled at either 7pm, 8pm or 9pm. Each team will play (on average) about once every couple of weeks. The season will run for about 3 months and the stage is set for a ripper season. Members may suggest their own partner – or call Brett to have one organised for you. BTC’s current Doubles Pennant Grand Final is to be held at the Club 7pm Wednesday July 22. It should be a great game – so feel free to come on down to the Club for a drink – and to check out the match. In a first for BTC, the Grand final will have video footage taken, be subject to appropriate editing and will then be loaded onto “Youtube” for all members to check out. BTC intends to start its own video collection of important Club events and tomorrow nights Doubles Pennant Grand Final will be a trial run. Stay tuned for further developments!!
