Well, BTC’s biggest handicap doubles event finally drew to a close on the weekend after nearly 12 months of matches. The Ballarat Open Handicap Doubles is our all in handicap doubles event and draws players from all levels of ability, ages and gender. It is designed to find our best handicap doubles pair for the year. This years event had some fantastic matches played throughout the draw – culminating in a final between David Parker/Wayne Spring v Andrew Pipkorn/Will Hoskin.

In a fitting final for this tournament, the match was an epic event – going three sets and taking nearly two hours to complete. Once the dust had settled, Will Hoskin and Andrew Pipkorn were victorious – taking out the match 6/5 4/6 6/4!
