BTC’s A Grade Pennant season has drawn to a close after a gruelling season of great matches. Preparation H(artnell); consisting of Mark Hartnell and Tim Graham lined up against The Bold & the Beautiful team of Bruce Christie and Will Hoskin.
Both teams had performed well over the course of the season and were coming off strong wins in the semi finals. |

In what was to an amazingly close night, Mark Hartnell and Bruce Christie started the night off – with the match going down to the wire. At one set all, five games all and advantage all – Mark Hartnell finally got over the line to take the match.
Tim Graham and Will Hoskin took to the court next for what turned out to be an almost replica of the first match: one set all, five games all and the final game awfully close as well. Finally though, a win to Tim Graham. |

The Doubles match of the evening was also a ‘nailbiter’. In another close result Mark and Tim won this as well…7/6 this time.
So there we have it, three matches to love to Mark and Tim – but only a number of points seperating the whole night. Certainly, Bruce and Will can hold their heads high! |

Tim and Mark’s post match celebration were magnificent – and they have already put their names down to defend their crown next season. |
